EEOC Revises Regulations Under the ADEA

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission recently revised the regulations under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act to become consistent with a recent Supreme Court ruling.  According to the EEOC press release on this issue:

 "The revised regulations clarify that the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) does not prohibit employers from favoring an older employee over a younger one when both are protected by the Act."
